  • Make calls now, for rate increases
    Updated On: Jun 17, 2017

Providers please call legislators by Tuesday. Ask parents to call too. Share with your friends, this is really important. Legislators need to hear why it is so important to increase rates, parents will have more difficulty finding quality care. Providers have not had a rate increase for 7 years, yet the cost of food, utilities, toys, preschool supplies, gas for transporting to school have greatly increased. Providers are going out of business every month because they can't afford to continue losing money. The state says they want children in quality child care, yet they are refusing to pay for care that meets working families needs. These families are trying to become self sufficient, this will make many go back on full welfare benefits. Contact I formation to make the call are in the picture.
