Members can call the toll free number 888-380-9833 and speak with a consumer consultant to determine which policy meets their families needs. Every member can purchase a policy, there are no pre-existing condition clauses. There is also a low cost dental policy available. If you are not a member you can still call, but you will not be able to purchase low cost health insurance until you become a local 132 member. Any registered or certified family child care provider may become a member, and did you know your helpers and employees can become AFSCME members and purchase insurance too! Just complete the membership application and return it, we will process applications as quickly as possible.
