Building a Business for Certified Family Child Care
Accepting Applications until September 7th

We are seeking a diverse group of participants with a range of experience and education from all regions of the state. Training will be conducted in English and all assigned books and handouts are in English. Applications are screened for admission to the 20 available spaces in the 2012-2013 Building a Business Training. You MUST be an Owner/Operator of Certified Family Child Care, staff of a Certified Family Child Care or a Registered Family Child Care Provider who plans to open a Certified Family Child Care.

You must be at Step 3 or higher on the Oregon Registry. You must commit to attend all training sessions. Training is scheduled on 13 Saturdays from Sept 22, 2012 through Sept 2013. Training will be held at OregonAEYC in Gladstone. Scholarships are available to cover all but $160. Stipends for mileage (over 50 miles) and lodging for those over 100 miles is available. Coaching to help you achieve the course outcomes is provided.
